HIGH SPRINGS – High Springs’ seasonal Art Walk will return to the city’s historic downtown district Saturday, May 16, 2026, ringing local artists, makers and shoppers together for an afternoon focused on art, small businesses and community activity.
The event is scheduled from noon to 5 p.m. along the sidewalks of downtown High Springs, where organizers say between 15 and 20 local artists and creators will display and sell handmade works in front of participating storefronts.
The Art Walk is designed to highlight the city’s walkable downtown atmosphere while giving visitors an opportunity to explore local shops and restaurants that have helped make High Springs a regional destination for dining, antiques and small-town tourism.
Participating downtown merchants are also expected to offer specials and sales during the event.
The seasonal gathering provides artists and artisans with a venue to showcase their work directly to the public while encouraging residents and visitors to spend the afternoon exploring the downtown business district.
High Springs has increasingly leaned on community-centered events to draw visitors into its historic core, with festivals, live music and outdoor markets regularly filling downtown streets throughout the year.
Organizers are continuing to seek additional artists and creators interested in participating in future Art Walk events. Artists wishing to display and sell their work can submit information and photographs of their items by email to downtownhighsprings@gmail.com.
The event is free and open to the public.
