HIGH SPRINGS – The High Springs Police Department joined residents, civic leaders and local organizations May 30, 2026, for the Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe’s sixth annual Kiwanis Kids & Family Mini Golf Tournament fundraiser.  The event is designed to support youth-focused programs while strengthening community ties.

Held at the Pink Flamingo Diner Mini Golf Course, 19726 U.S. Highway 441 in High Springs, the tournament brought together participants of all ages for a morning of friendly competition and fundraising.

The event featured prizes for first-, second- and third-place finishers, along with individual contests on five holes. Following the tournament, participants gathered for hot dogs and hamburgers provided by organizers.

Among the participants was the High Springs Police Department, whose officers joined community members in support of the fundraiser and the Kiwanis Club’s mission of serving children and families.

In a statement following the event, the department thanked the Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe for its dedication to youth and community service.

The department noted that events such as the mini golf tournament create opportunities for residents, businesses, nonprofit organizations and public safety personnel to interact outside of their traditional roles while working toward a common goal.

Kiwanis clubs throughout the United States focus on programs and initiatives that benefit children through service projects, educational opportunities and community outreach. The Santa Fe club has long been active in supporting local youth programs and charitable efforts across the region.

The annual tournament serves as both a fundraiser and a community gathering, bringing together supporters to help fund projects and activities that benefit local children and families.

Police officials also expressed appreciation to the volunteers, participants and sponsors who helped make the event possible.
