To Our Readers, Advertisers, and Community Members,

In July 2024, our offices were searched by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). This search was initiated based on misinformation and unfounded allegations.

Let me state unequivocally: these accusations are false, maliciously fabricated, defamatory, and provably untrue.

We initially refrained from public comment out of respect for the investigative process, trusting that the truth would eventually be revealed.

I have full confidence in the integrity of our office, the professionalism of our staff, and the character of our family. Alachua Today has always maintained the highest standards of honesty, dedication, and service to this community.

We will not be intimidated, we will not be silenced, and we refuse to allow falsehoods to define us. Truth will prevail, and those who have misused their positions for personal agendas will ultimately be held accountable.
