AND BUDGET HEARING
The Florida Governmental Utility Authority ("FGUA") announces a public meeting and public hearing to which all interested persons are invited. The FGUA is a legal entity and public body created pursuant to the provisions of Section 163.01, Florida Statutes, and an Interlocal Agreement among Citrus County, Florida; DeSoto County, Florida; Hendry County, Florida; Pasco County, Florida; Polk County, Florida, and Lee County, Florida. The meeting and public hearing will be held at 1:00 p.m. on September 19, 2013 at West Pasco Government Center Commission Chambers located at 7530 Little Road New Port Richey, Florida 34654. The FGUA Board will address general operating issues of the FGUA. The meeting will also include a public hearing to consider adoption of the annual budgets and capital improvement programs for the water and wastewater systems of Aqua Unified Utility System (former Aqua Utilities) and the FGUA General Fund annual operating budget. All customers of the FGUA, affected property owners, tenants or occupants, and all other interested persons, shall have an opportunity to be heard concerning the proposed annual budget and capital improvement programs and to file written comments with the FGUA. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the FGUA with respect to any matter considered at the hearing, such person will need a record of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be made.
