CITY OF NEWBERRY
NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING
CONCERNING ENACTMENT OF AN ORDINANCE RELATIVE TO AN AMENDMENT
TO THE DEVELOPMENT ORDER AND AGREEMENT FOR NEWBERRY CORNERS
THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF NEWBERRY, FLORIDA, proposes to amend the Development Order and Development Agreement for Newberry Corners Subdivision as described below. The City Commission will conduct public hearings at which comments, objections and recommendations regarding the following described application for amendments to the Development Order and Development Agreement for Newberry Corners as described below, will be heard. In conjunction with these public hearings, the City Commission will consider an ordinance on second reading for enactment of the proposed amendments to the Development Order and Development Agreement for Newberry Corners as described below. The Public Hearings will be conducted on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matters can be heard, in the City Commission Meeting Room, City Hall located at 25440 West Newberry Road, Newberry, Florida.
LDR 15-02, an application by M3 Newberry, LLC, to amend Development Order 13-03 and the associated Development Agreement, enacted via Ordinance 15-13, to correct scriveners errors and to clarify its intentions to develop the Newberry Corners Planned Development as either a mixed-use development or an exclusively single-family residential detached community. The property is described below and shown on the following location map. The total property contains approximately 40 acres, more or less and is located on S.R. 45 north of the Newberry Commercial Park.

These public hearings on the proposed amendments to the Development Order and Development Agreement for Newberry Corners Subdivision will be conducted by the City Commission. The City Commission will consider the enactment of an ordinance to adopt the amended Development Order and Development Agreement for Newberry Corners Subdivision. The title of said ordinance shall read as follows:

These public hearings may be continued to one or more future dates. Any interested party shall be advised that the date, time and place of any continuation of these public hearings shall be announced during the public hearings and that no further notice regarding these matters will be published.
At the aforementioned public hearings, all interested parties may be heard with respect to the proposed amendments to the Development Order and Development Agreement for Newberry Corners Subdivision.
Copies of the proposed amendments are available for public inspection at the Newberry Planning Department, located at 25815 S.W. 2nd Avenue, Newberry, Florida, during regular business hours.
All persons are advised that if they decide to appeal any decision made at the above-referenced public hearings, they will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings are made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeals are to be based.

The Town of Lacrosse is applying to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) for a Federal Fiscal Year 2014 CDBG grant under the Housing Rehabilitation category in the amount of $600,000 under the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. For each activity that is proposed (except for Administration), 100% of the funds must benefit low to moderate income (LMI) persons. THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF NEWBERRY, FLORIDA, proposes to amend the Development Order and Development Agreement for Newberry Corners Subdivision as described below. The Town of Lacrosse is applying to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) for a Federal Fiscal Year 2014 CDBG grant under the Housing Rehabilitation category in the amount of $600,000 under the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. For each activity that is proposed (except for Administration), 100% of the funds must benefit low to moderate income (LMI) persons.
