An ordinance dealing with Vending Booths and Open Air Sales; amending Article II, Chapter 10 of the Code of Ordinances (The Code), Amending Section 1.05.02C of the Land Development Code (LDC) to delete the definition of Vending Booths and deleting Section 4.02.17 of the LDC; Amending Code Section 10-10 to add a definition of Open Air Sales; Amending Code Section 10-11 to delete reduced permit fees, the requirement for Fire Department and Plan Board review of permit applications, the requirement for submission of a photograph and to make the Town Administrator the permit issuing authority; amending Code Section 10-12 to clarify set back requirements, signage provisions, fire extinguisher requirements, changing the areas where sales will be allowed, prohibiting alcoholic beverages, deleting the restriction on the number of vendors on a single parcel except in C-1 Zones, and requiring the site to be cleared at the end of each day in certain areas; and amending Code Section 10-13 to change the Plan Board to the Town Administrator; Providing for an effective date and allowing existing business to continue to operate; Providing for severability of provisions; and Providing for inclusion in the Code.

An ordinance dealing with Vending Booths and Open Air Sales; amending Article II, Chapter 10 of the Code of Ordinances (The Code), Amending Section 1.05.02C of the Land Development Code (LDC) to delete the definition of Vending Booths and deleting Section 4.02.17 of the LDC; Amending Code Section 10-10 to add a definition of Open Air Sales; Amending Code Section 10-11 to delete reduced permit fees, the requirement for Fire Department and Plan Board review of permit applications, the requirement for submission of a photograph and to make the Town Administrator the permit issuing authority; amending Code Section 10-12 to clarify set back requirements, signage provisions, fire extinguisher requirements, changing the areas where sales will be allowed, prohibiting alcoholic beverages, deleting the restriction on the number of vendors on a single parcel except in C-1 Zones, and requiring the site to be cleared at the end of each day in certain areas; and amending Code Section 10-13 to change the Plan Board to the Town Administrator; Providing for an effective date and allowing existing business to continue to operate; Providing for severability of provisions; and Providing for inclusion in the Code.

Utilities personnel are subject to call back and are required to rotate on-call standby duty. HS diploma or GED; valid Fl DL required; and FL CDL class B required within one year of hire date. Experience in water and/or sewer utilities preferred. Collection System Operator Certification required or to be obtained within eighteen months. Salary based on qualifications.
