REQUESTS FOR BIDS

INVITATION TO BID

Sealed Bids, for the following tree trimming, will be received and accepted by the Town of LaCrosse, Florida until Tuesday, November 12th ending at 2 pm. The bids will be opened and read aloud on November 12th at the regular town council meeting starting at 6 pm.

All bidders must attend a pre-bid tour to be held on Friday, November 1st at 9am. Bidders will meet at the Town Hall, 20613 N SR 121, LaCrosse, Florida.

The Town of LaCrosse is requesting tree trimming bids for:

1. All trees to be trimmed, exempting Woodpecker Trail, along local streets and the interconnecting highways of SR 121, SR 235 and CR 1493, within the corporate limits, from city limit sign to city limit sign, to a minimum height of 15 feet.

2. Trim out any limbs that are identified as unhealthy and a potential hazard on all roadways including Woodpecker Trail.

3. If 15 feet is insufficient to clear any streetlight along any local street or along any interconnecting highway, the trimming height must be adjusted to clear the streetlight.

4. All brushy overgrowth along local streets and interconnecting highways must be trimmed back to clear the right of way.

5. All trimmings must be removed and disposed of in a landfill or other authorized receiving area.

6. All bids are to be sealed and are required to contain a current certificate of liability insurance of at least $300,000 and proof of workers compensation or current workers compensation exemption certificate.

7. Any bid not containing the required proof of liability insurance and proof of current workers compensation or current workers compensation exemption certificate will not be read and will not be considered. The Town disclaims all Worker’s Compensation Exemption Certificates if the bidder does not qualify for the Exemption at the time of bid.

8. Sealed bids must be delivered to the town hall located at 20613 N SR 121 in LaCrosse; or emailed to clerk@townoflacrosse.net; or mailed to PO Drawer D, LaCrosse, Florida 32658

9. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.

INVITATION TO BID

Sealed Bids, for the following tree trimming, will be received and accepted by the Town of LaCrosse, Florida until Tuesday, November 12th ending at 2 pm. The bids will be opened and read aloud on November 12th at the regular town council meeting starting at 6 pm.

All bidders must attend a pre-bid tour to be held on Friday, November 1st at 9am. Bidders will meet at the Town Hall, 20613 N SR 121, LaCrosse, Florida.

The Town of LaCrosse is requesting tree trimming bids for:

1. All trees to be trimmed, exempting Woodpecker Trail, along local streets and the interconnecting highways of SR 121, SR 235 and CR 1493, within the corporate limits, from city limit sign to city limit sign, to a minimum height of 15 feet.

2. Trim out any limbs that are identified as unhealthy and a potential hazard on all roadways including Woodpecker Trail.

3. If 15 feet is insufficient to clear any streetlight along any local street or along any interconnecting highway, the trimming height must be adjusted to clear the streetlight.

4. All brushy overgrowth along local streets and interconnecting highways must be trimmed back to clear the right of way.

5. All trimmings must be removed and disposed of in a landfill or other authorized receiving area.

6. All bids are to be sealed and are required to contain a current certificate of liability insurance of at least $300,000 and proof of workers compensation or current workers compensation exemption certificate.

7. Any bid not containing the required proof of liability insurance and proof of current workers compensation or current workers compensation exemption certificate will not be read and will not be considered. The Town disclaims all Worker’s Compensation Exemption Certificates if the bidder does not qualify for the Exemption at the time of bid.
