NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CITY OF HIGH SPRINGS LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE
BY THE PLAN BOARD OF THE CITY OF HIGH SPRINGS, FLORIDA, SERVING ALSO AS THE LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY OF THE CITY OF HIGH SPRINGS, FLORIDA, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Sections 163.3161 through 163.3248, Florida Statutes, as amended, and the City of High Springs Land Development Code, as amended, objections, recommendations and comments concerning the amendment, as described below, will be heard by the Plan Board of the City of High Springs, Florida, serving also as the Local Planning Agency of the City of High Springs, Florida, at a public hearing on March 16, 2026 at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall located at 23718 West U.S. Highway 27, High Springs, Florida.
LDC 26-02, an application by the City Commission to amend the text of Appendix B, Article X, Part 10.02.01 of the Land Development Code to provide for the appointment of alternates on the Plan Board of High Springs, Florida.

Notice is hereby given that an Election for the City of Archer, Alachua County, Florida, will be held on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026. The purpose of the election will be to fill two City Commission seats.
To elect a Commissioner for seats #4 & #5, the appointees shall serve a term of four (4) years.
Qualifying for these seats will occur from noon (12 pm) on February 12th, 2026, through noon (12 pm) on March 2nd, 2026.
If no candidate receives a majority of the votes cast for the Seat in the election, a run-off election shall be held on April 28th, 2026, between the two (2) candidates for that seat who receive the highest number of votes cast in the election.
