Maggie Leggett Trail, 87, born February 1, 1925, and lifelong resident of Gilchrist County, passed away on May 11, 2012.She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Maxie Trail; and sons, Charles and Alex Gene Trail.
Mrs. Trail is survived by six children, Katherine Fowler of Bell, Shirley Clemons of High Springs, Thomas Junior Trail of Bell, Betty Parrish Godbey of Lake City, Glenda Railey of High Springs, Stanley Trail of Ft. White; 32 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012, at 11 a.m., at Mason City Recreational Center on US Hwy 441, with Pastor John Clemons officiating.
Inurnment will be in Wayfair Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of Evans-Carter Funeral Home, High Springs, Fla.
