Mrs. Rose Marie Guindin-Mayo, age 51, of Bell, Fla., passed away in the service of our Lord Jesus Christ on June 27, 2013 in Guatemala City, Guatemala. She was serving in the mission field teaching English as a second language to children in Guatemala City. She was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico and moved to Bell in 1995 from Leisure, Fla.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley Mayo of Bell; daughter, Jenna (Marcus) Mozorra of Clearmont, Fla.; sons Mike (Jessi) Mayo of Huntsville, Ala., Jonathan (Emily) Luchak of Forest City, N.C.; parents, Maria and Alberto Guindin of Miami, Fla., brother, Jose Guindin of Miami; grandchildren, Nathan, Avarie, Ella Grace, Baby Mayo (due August 2013) and Baby Luchak (due October 2013).
Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 6 p.m., Cornerstone Baptist Church, Highway 47, Ft. White, Fla. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in honor of Rose Mayo to the Harmony Pregnancy and Resource center, www.harmonyprc.org, 352-493-7773.
