NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the ordinance, which title hereinafter appears, will be considered for enactment by the City Commission of the City of High Springs, Florida, hereinafter referred to as the City Commission, at a public hearing to be held on February 27, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall located at 23718 West U.S. Highway 27, High Springs, Florida. The City of High Springs/High Springs Parks & REC seeks Request for Proposals from licensed and insured experienced contractor to perform detailed renovation and restoration work on the multipurpose athletic fields at the Sports Complex located at 19499 NW 238th St, High Springs, FL 32643.

Interested Parties may obtain a copy of this Request for Proposal and Scope of work by contacting the City Clerk’s Office at 386-454-1416 extension 6, online at www. highsprings.gov, or by email at cityclerk@highsprings.gov.

To be considered, the Firm or Individual must submit an original and three (3) copies of the RFP in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked with the Firm’s or individual’s name and address, and the words “RFP No. (2025-02) High Springs Sports Complex Multipurpose Fields”.

CITIZEN ADVISORY TASK FORCE (CATF)
The City of Alachua is accepting applications for one (1) vacancy on the CATF. Appointment will be for a three (3) year term. The CATF is the advisory body to the Alachua City Commission on the CDBG Program. It is a five (5) member committee that meets at least semiannually at City Hall. Applicants must reside in the City of Alachua and fall within the low to moderate income limits.

Applications may be obtained in person at Alachua City Hall, 15100 NW 142nd Terrace, Monday through Thursday, between 7:30 A.M. and 6:00 PM. For electronic applications, visit the City website at:

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING ESTABLISHMENT OF THE BRIDLEWOOD OF HIGH SPRINGS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HIGH SPRINGS, FLORIDA, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, as amended and the City of High Springs Land Development Code, objections, recommendations and comments concerning the petition, as outlined below, will be heard by the City Commission of the City of High Springs, Florida, at a public hearing to be held on February 27, 2025 at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall located at 23718 West U.S. Highway 27, High Springs, Florida. The petition was previously noticed for a public hearing on May 23, 2024.
Petition No. CDD 24-01, by Bridlewood of High Springs, LLC, to establish the Bridlewood of High Springs Community Development District, consists of a 244.80-acre area located in Section 10, Township 8 South, Range 17 East, Alachua County, Florida, lying Easterly of U.S. Highway 27/41 (State Road 45), within the central portion of the corporate limits of the City and as outlined in the map below.
The public is advised to visit the website: https://www.highsprings.us for up-to-date information concerning the public hearing. If the public hearing is also held via communications media technology, all pertinent information will be made available via the City website https://www.highsprings.us or may be obtained by calling the Planning, Development and Code Office at 386.454.7322.
At the aforementioned public hearing, all interested parties may appear to be heard with respect to said petition.
Copies of the petition are available for public inspection at the Office of the City Clerk, 23718 West U.S. Highway 27, High Springs, Florida, during regular business hours.
All persons are advised that if they decide to appeal any decision made at the above referenced public hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings, and that for such purpose they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

The City of High Springs/High Springs Parks & REC seeks Request for Proposals from licensed and insured experienced contractor to perform detailed renovation and restoration work on the multipurpose athletic fields at the Sports Complex located at 19499 NW 238th St, High Springs, FL 32643.

The City reserves the right to accept or reject any/or all submissions, to accept all or any part of the submission, to waive irregularities and technicalities, and to request resubmission, if it is deemed in the best interest of the City.
