Notice of Intent to Abandon
CSX Transportation, Inc. (“CSXT”) gives notice that on or about October 6, 2025, it intends to file with the Surface Transportation Board, Washington, DC 20423, a notice of exemption under 49 CFR 1152 Subpart F—Exempt Abandonments permitting the abandonment of approximately 1.4-mile rail line that runs between milepost AR 715.48 and milepost AR 716.88, on its Southern Region, Jacksonville Division, West Coast Subdivision, running through U.S. Postal Zip Code 32643. The proceeding will be docketed as No. AB-55 (Sub-No. 824X).
The Board’s Office of Environmental Analysis (OEA) will generally prepare an Environmental Assessment (EA), which will normally be available 25 days after the filing of the notice of exemption. Comments on environmental and energy matters should be filed no later than 15 days after the EA becomes available to the public and will be addressed in a Board decision. CSX Transportation, Inc. CITY OF WALDO NOTICE OF LAND USE ACTION REGARDING A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE CITY OF WALDO LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE

WHAT: LDC 25-01, an application by the City Council to amend the Land Development Code as specified within the Ordinance title provided below.
The City of Waldo City Council will conduct a Public Hearing regarding the amendment to the Land Development Code on October 14, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: the City Council public hearing will be held in the City Council Meeting room in Waldo City Square, located at 14450 N.E. 148th Avenue, Waldo, Florida.
The Ordinance to be considered is described in the following Ordinance title:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WALDO, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE TEXT OF SECTION 7.09 ENTITLED RECREATIONAL VEHICLES UNDER THE PROCEDURES ESTABLISHED IN SECTION 163.3202, FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE

This Ordinance and the public hearing may be continued to one or more future dates. Any interested party shall be advised that the date, time, and place of any continuation of this public hearing shall be announced during the public hearing and that no further notice concerning this matter will be published.

Neighborhood Meeting Notice

A neighborhood workshop will be held to discuss proposed future land use map changes from Community Commercial, Low Density Residential and Moderate Density Residential to Commercial and from Low Density Residential to Moderate Density Residential and a rezoning from Community Commercial (CC) and Planned Development - Residential (PD-R) to Planned Development - Commercial (PD-COMM) and Planned Development - Residential (PD-R) generally located in the 16400 to 18800 blocks of US Highway 441 (south side) on all or a portion of 14 tax parcels (03046-003-000, 03046-003-001, 03046-003-002, 03046-003-003, 03046-003-004, 03046-003-005, 03042-050-003, 03042-050-004, 03042-050-010, 03042-051-001, 03042-050-005, 03875-001-001, 03875-010-001 and 03875-010-002).
