Notice is hereby given that the Special City Election for the City of Archer, Alachua County, Florida, will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. The purpose of the special election will be to fill City Commission seat.
To elect a Commissioner for seat #1, the appointee shall serve until the next regular City election.
Qualifying for these seats will occur from noon (12pm), October 1, 2025, to noon (12pm) on October 15, 2025.
If no candidate receives a majority of votes cast for a Seat in the special election, a run-off election shall be held on December 2nd, 2025, between the two (2) candidates for that seat who receive the highest number of votes cast in the special election.
The polling site will be the Archer Community Center, 16671 SW 137th Avenue, Archer, Florida. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
