Helen B. Wimberley, 87, of High Springs, Fla., passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2013.
She was born September 18, 1925 in Tuscarora, Pa. She graduated from Laceyville Borough High School in 1944. After graduation, she moved to Daytona Beach, Fla., where she made her home. She retired from Lerner/The Limited. She enjoyed taking pictures of her grandchildren.
On July 28, 1962 she dedicated her life to her creator, Jehovah God.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Leonora Cooper and father, George Marcey; special parents, Olin and Mae Fassett; four sisters, a son-in-law and a grandson.
Survivors include one brother, Morris Fassett (Charlotte); two daughters, Sandra Sullivan (John) and Dell Hoecke of High Springs; 12 grandchildren, Marsha Fogg (Ken), Linda Osburn (James), Debbie Hollingsworth (Joey), Patty Mathews, Cheryl Mitchell (Royce), Christine Ells (Gordon), Denise Collins (John), James Gildea (Kari), Shaun Gildea (Charity), David Gildea, Patrick Hoecke and Kayla Hammersma (Nick); 25 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a great crowd of spiritual brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held June 29, 2013 at 4 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 330 SE 7th Ave., High Springs.
