Richard Shane Goolsby

Richard Shane Goolsby, age 58, Bell, Fla., died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at his residence.

He was born in Gainesville, Fla., to the late John and Pauline Goolsby.

Mr. Goolsby was a member of the North Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and worked as a grocery store manager for many years.

He is survived by one son, Robert Scott Goolsby of High Springs, Fla.; one daughter, Sarah Goolsby of Alachua, Fla.; two grandchildren, Trevor A. Smith and W. Cale Goolsby; one brother, Jerry (Iris) Goolsby of Alachua; and two sisters, Marsha (Gene) Burkey and Terri Lynn both of Keystone Heights, Fla.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014 at 11 a.m., at the Evans-Carter Funeral Home, with Mr. Jason Stewart officiating.
