Cheryl Yvette Holmes-Robinson, age 47, passed Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014 at Shands at UF. She is the daughter of Ernest Holmes, Jr. and the late Christine O’neal Holmes. She is a 1984 graduate of Santa Fe High School, Alachua.
Cheryl is survived by husband, Elmo Dwayne Robinson; children, Brandon Diston, Jermaine McClellon and Christina Snead; 18 siblings; grandfather Rev. Ernest Holmes Sr., aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews , in-laws, cousins and friends.
Viewing for Mrs. Robinson will be held Friday, Jan. 17 from 6-7 p.m. at A. Jerome Brown Funeral Home Funeral. Services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 18, at 2:30 p.m. at the Female Protective Society Temple, 12610 NW 39th Ave., Gainesville, Fla.
